You know the gameshow "Jeopardy", where you have to present you answer in the form of a question?

If you are going to link to a site, it should be a blog. If you want to link to your latest and greatest "Ponyfinder Splat Book", make a blog post about it and link the sales site within the blogpost. This is a community about "blogging", not "selling".

Direct sales links will get deleted when I find them.

Nothing personal when I delete said links.

Don't take it personally if I remove your post for spamming your Kickstarter or business - that is not what this community is for.

Apparently folks don't spend a minute or two looking around and reading posts before posting their spam.

To be honest, I'm not a huge supers gamer. While I loved the comics when I was younger and I'm really enjoying what DC and Marvel are doing on TV and in the movies, supers as a gaming genre has never really bitten me. That be...

A follow up to my original post about backstory. This article begins to take a deeper look on parents and how they affect a character's background.

http://saynoto4e.blogspot.com/2016/05/its-all-about-back-story-part-ii-its.html
I talked about ten questions that can help a player create a backstory in this article. While I think those ten questions are important, a lot of players need a little extra help when it comes to answering them. For this reas...

I'm with +Alan Kellogg.  My "say yes" is "yes, you can try it", not "yes you can do it".  Depending on what you're trying, success may be far from guaranteed.

It's the stores where the presence of a paying customer is an inconvenience that gets in the way of playing card games with their friends that confuse me. I was greeted with a grunt of "no credit card machine" the last time I went into my ULGS, they didn't even look up from their hand of cards. How they stay open is beyond me.

I don't often post links to my blog here, but I keep running into recent discussions about "The Cult of the New" and wrote an article about nearly a year ago and so, I thought I would post a link to it and see what peoples thoughts are. Are you part of "The Cult of the New"? Maybe "The Cult of the Old"?

This trend knows no bounds in the hobby and crosses into all areas.

Learning new rules often means forgetting old ones, and that tends to wear you out. Given that the young really haven't learn all that much, and so their brains aren't clogged yet, they're ready for the new. Old guys? Just too much hassle.
