You know the gameshow "Jeopardy", where you have to present you answer in the form of a question?

If you are going to link to a site, it should be a blog. If you want to link to your latest and greatest "Ponyfinder Splat Book", make a blog post about it and link the sales site within the blogpost. This is a community about "blogging", not "selling".

Direct sales links will get deleted when I find them.

Nothing personal when I delete said links.

Don't take it personally if I remove your post for spamming your Kickstarter or business - that is not what this community is for.

Apparently folks don't spend a minute or two looking around and reading posts before posting their spam.

You've been spamming multiple communities with this question. Honestly, I don't think this sentiment is welcome in this community - people here are interested in supporting the RPG industry and community. If you are stealing people's work, keep it to yourself, and consider stopping.

Thursday is GURPSDay! We've got MOAR PLAYERS! We've got some post summaries! And a random order of blogs to ensure everyone gets a moment on top, eventually.

If you occasionally blog about GURPS, send me an email at gurpsday@gmail.com and I can ensure that when you DO write, it gets picked up.

Happy GURPSDay!

You know the quality of Dyson's maps. You might not know it's his maps when you see them, but you should. Heck, his blog Dyson's Dodecahedron, is a virtual sampler of the work he does. And it is good. Damn good. Until 1059 AM...

A little bit of homebrew fey/Elder race

http://daggerhart.net/hath-e-foldar-city-of-the-aedryn
Long have the Frosthorns held the secrets of the ancient Aedryn, the Dawn Forgers. Myth tells of the first race, the original Fey, from whom all other feyfolk descended, and the mythical First Empire from which they ruled most of the world. The ancient capital of this first empire, ...

Geek & Sundry does a nice piece on games that are not Dungeons and Dragons. It mentions GURPS, but does it a disservice by perpetuating some stereotypes that were never wholly true, and with the advent and maturation of Fourth Edition are outdated at best.

Another Night's Black Agents recap, this time with more explosions. Or maybe just a bigger one. Much bigger. And a vampire.
In Operation Rollup, my Night's Black Agents characters take out a human trafficking ring and then hunt down the forces behind it.

Alternate History. Nazis. Mecha. Gun Porn. Cyborgs. Cyborg Nazis. Political intrigue! Sophisticated setting! Huge starships!

Only available in Spanish, you say? Pity.

Happy "Thurpsday"!

If you've ever thought, or heard someone say, "there aren't enough monsters for GURPS"... maybe you're not looking in the right places?

If so, check out this list of resources for hundreds of monsters, aliens, and just all-around bad guys for GURPS 4th Edition.
Happy Thurpsday, GURPS fanatics! I hope your week since the last post has been filled with games and good times. So... monsters and foes. Despite what I frequently hear both online and off, GURPS does have stats for a bajillion creatures to throw at your PCs (possibly a metric bajillion).

Choosing the style of map for your campaign world is more important than you think (or I thought anyway). Get an idea of how to choose the style that's best for your world and get to know the design ideas behind my soon-to-be published campaign world of Exploration Age in a new #WorldBuilderBlog post. http://worldbuilderblog.me/2016/02/04/map-styles-and-blank-spots/
You might remember when the fifth edition Dungeons and Dragons Open Gaming License was announced I put out a call for cartographers. It is time to buckle down and finish the Exploration Age Campaig...

2d6 skills. For TSR D&D, but probably 5e as well.
Honestly, I have never liked the idea of the original thief having "x in 6" chances plus some percentages. Worse, some later editions added another system for skills that used neither. I am not rally a fan of "unified mechani...
