You know the gameshow "Jeopardy", where you have to present you answer in the form of a question?

If you are going to link to a site, it should be a blog. If you want to link to your latest and greatest "Ponyfinder Splat Book", make a blog post about it and link the sales site within the blogpost. This is a community about "blogging", not "selling".

Direct sales links will get deleted when I find them.

Nothing personal when I delete said links.

is it really that hard to NOT directly spam Kickstarters here?

Blog about the Kickstarter, link the blog post.

Next one that posts a direct Kickstarter link gets banned.

Here's a quickie: some #FateCore stats for a magic item in my #Crux game, Srady's Penny.  An ancient coin that allows for size-changing chicanery!

Words falling from parchment to the floor, rooms reorganised and turned on their head and as predicted, deadlier consequences, such as total  facial rearrangement. Every incident, as fabled in Braxx's tome, followed by metallic marbles. Order has become chaos. CoN: TSW -C3:P8
Meanwhile upstairs, Braxx was startled to find two people he had never met in his room. He asked Eryn if he and the girl were the specialists he had asked for, and if not, who were they. As Eryn tried to explain their situati...

Is Role-playing in and of itself a fun activity?
Hello World, I have talked about the positive effects of role-playing in previous blog posts. Discussing how it improves social skills and expand one’s understanding of the world around them. While that is all well and goo...

I really think it depends on the person.  I enjoy improvisational acting so I think the act of taking on a role and playing it is quite fun.  I have also written Journal games which are a bit like RPGs for one.

Brooding loners are OK as long as they're team players, like Wolverine.

As you can see from the previous post, I got my Reapers Bones II Box earlier tonight. I'm a funny guy when it comes to miniatures. I don't use them in game (not even in Roll20, where I have access to infinite "pogs" and the l...

I am like you, and I'm so ashamed!
I'm actually, genuinely stressed that the Bones 2nd kickstarter is going to arrive, and I haven't painted any minis from the first kickstarter. (We've undercoated a handful...)

Again, I don't blame Zak for choosing to leave, I respect his decision, but it also wasn't particularly anything I'd define as "heroic".  I don't condemn him for going, but fundamentally, what he did in the end was to concede the field, and to concede it in the worst possible place to concede it. Because it's one thing to get applauded for "taking a stand" by a large swath of people who already agree with your views, but it's another thing completely to change minds.

Maybe someone should go tell these motherfucking morons over at rpg.net that this guy they've invented and given my name, and indeed the website they say he works for, exists nowhere but in their own delusional reality bubble?

Not that it will do much good, when you're talking about a site that regularly just invents its own fantasy-alternate-universe and revels in their bubble of delusion.
And then they wonder why normal human beings don't trust anything that comes out of these asshole's mouths ...

Thursday is GURPS-Day, and I try and sneak in under the wire with my typical narcissistic full-issue review of any Pyramid release I have an article in. This particular article is by Sean, and he gives you freakin' psychic jedi for your Dungeon Fantasy game.

Braxx remembers a  set of historic accounts of chaos and death followed by the fabled recovery of silver marbles while Danton is explosively reunited with his past. CoN: TSW - C3:P7
Chianna introduced the man in front of her as Uncle Braxx. She explained that this was the only place that he could find refuge, owing to the many empty floors and therefore the lack of psychic energy in the mansion. This of ...
