To wrap up 2016 and look ahead to 2017, share one online "gift" with colleagues in your #INeLearn Community of Practice. It could be a lesson, a resource, a blog post, or anything else you think might be helpful for a peer in your content area or grade level. You can share something you created or that you found and have used.

There are a multitude of TED Talks that can be used in Health Science class, but imagine your students creating their own. Has anyone done something similiar?
Imagine your students giving a TED Talk for their final assessment to a 13-week-long unit. That's what this 7th grade Wellness teacher's students accomplished.

Teachers—
Please consider attending the 2014 Biennial Curriculum Conference sponsored by the National Consortium for Health Science Education.  It is the ONLY conference for Health Science teachers, by Health Science teacher presenters that features an exhibit space dedicated to Health Science resources!!
The tentative program can be found at:  http://www.healthscienceconsortium.org/docs/Tentative_Program_for_web.pdf
For those instructors not sure how to “ask” to go, we’ve created a letter of explanation for your administration, requesting them to allow you to attend:
