The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has alleged that the leaders of the apex Igbo organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, were behind the gunman attack on worshippers in St. Philips Catholic Church, Ozubulu in Anambra state.

He made the allegations while addressing IPOB members who paid him a visit at his Umuahia residence yesterday.

According to him, Ohanaeze leadership allegedly accepted financial inducement from anti-Biafra individuals and organization to divide the opinions of South-easterners through various media statements so that terror could be unleashed on the people already divided in thoughts.

He further dismissed the reports that claim the shooting was a product of on-going feud between two overseas-based drug barons of Igbo origin.

Kanu said: “They have killed our people in Onitsha. They have been to the church to massacre our people in Ozubulu.

“When we ask you not to vote, people don’t understand. Those you are voting for cannot protect you. I warned you four years ago that a time will come when they would come into your house, your villages to massacre you and nobody will protect you. It has happened. Hasn’t it?

“They want us to vote in Anambra where they are killing our people; where they cannot protect us.

“The only reason why they want you to vote is because of the monthly allocation so that they can keep sharing money every month.

“They don’t care about you. They don’t give a damn about you.

“Do you know why they killed people at Ozubulu?

“The enemies are very clever. Since, I came out of prison they could not attack. They were waiting to drive a division between us and the politicians in Abuja; and your governors; and Ohanaeze Ndigbo.

“When they saw that we (Igbos) were together, they couldn’t do anything. They kept waiting. They kept giving them (South-East governors and Ohanaeze leadership) money to attack IPOB.

“The moment they started doing what they were told, the enemies knew it was the time to strike.

“Our people are not reasonable enough to understand the threat facing them.

“Tell me where in this world you have a governor like you have in Anambra, and the enemy will come and strike.

“The killing in Ozubulu is an example of how the enemy works. They first of all come and try your resolve and when you resist them, they use subterfuge to divide you. Once they see any space, they strike. Ohanaeze must know this.

“Ohanaeze Ndigbo is responsible for the death of the people in Ozubulu.

Tell your neighbor that 18th of November 2017 is #Ofemsala day!. No voting ... No election ....enjoy urself at home

The true story of Uzubulu Church killing.
The police commissioner and Governor Willi Obiano lied to the public.
We all were in the church during the 6am morning mass today, we saw two cars that drove into the church; because it was a Church premises we over looked it and we considered them to be people that came for morning mass(service). But to the surprise of everyone, the car halted at the center of the gate, meaning you cannot close the gate, since it is open already.
"The driver came out of the car pretending he was fixing a problem; so everyone still ignored the drama happening outside the premises.
"Suddenly, some men came out from the car, fully armed, all in Army uniform. I was lucky because I was sitting at the back, just beside the door, but I was clearly seeing what was happening. The sky was cloudy and everywhere seemed dark; no one saw what they were carrying, whether it was gun, but surely they were fully equipped.
"They immediately rushed to the front door. I was too lucky to jump the fence, but before I had jumped, I heard gun shot everywhere in the building. They obstructed the front gate, because for women that is their only route to escape. That was why women were killed more than men. Children were killed as well, many were seriously injured.
"After I had escaped, I started making calls to link my church members who were in the church, but they were not picking up; not knowing they were dead already.
The gun men were not igbos, because their language were not igbo, the government should stop lying, I heard they said That, they gun Men were flashing touch light on us, but it a lie, because the whole church was so lighted that even from outside you will see who is inside. Even at that, if they were really flashing touch light to know who is their target, those that were killed, are they their target.
Like I said before and I will say it again, I was at the back door, I saw all that happened, they were with Army uniform, face covered, standing at the Front door, holding their trigger, and shooting at anything that moves.
When the police came, I was waiting for them to ask questions of what happened, so that I will explain, but they were busy taking pictures of the dead ones, without knowing the fact
"Not too long after they had gone, I went back to the church. I was shocked with what I saw; my Mother was lying dead! Many people were unconscious but later succumbed to death.
"After about one hour of the killings, the Police arrived the church. Two hours later, the Governor, Willie Obiano arrived too. Everyone was shocked, wandering how the perpetrators stormed in Army uniform. Questions began to arise: "Who gave them the Army uniform?" Who gave them the Army car?"
Surely jihad is here, and everyone have to defend him/her self.
A woman who still survived the mayhem said, "All I could remember is that I was sitting at the front when some people in Army uniform invaded the Church and started shooting at everyone. They just held the trigger and fired at everyone they sighted. I managed to hide under the seat but was shot in the leg.
"A boy was shot in head, his brain bursted, and blood spilled everywhere - even at my face."
No more election in Biafra Land starting from Anambra state until a date for referendum is giving us to determine our faiths cos Biafra Nation must be restore back on EARTH again.

BIAFRA: WHEN BIAFRA WILL GO TO ANOTHER WAR WITH NIGERIA
By Ifeanyi Chijioke - TBP
August 01, 2017
IPOB Supreme leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, addressing the people of Imo State{By the time Biafra finishes her civil disobedience; which includes election boycott and census boycott and a referendum date is not given, it would open up a channel of war. That is when Biafra will go to a second civil war with Nigeria and it would be terrible; absolutely terrible. They will go to war with Nigeria because everything they have suffered and the death they have faced for their referendum will not be in vain}
The end product of this current Biafra agitation is obviously crisis cum war on the basis that Biafra is now or never- A wise man will start to make up for what is to come.
The cruel hands of fate never gave my father the chance to talk to me like a son but the little I have learnt from a great man is- he goes for what he wants at all cost. I put Nnamdi Kanu in the category of great men because he has shown rare bravery.
He has chosen peace; endured all forms of torture and attack- he has been threatened that he sleeps with an eye open because he has no gun for self defense.
The people of Biafra continue to die like Christmas fowls; nobody talks and no government asks questions. Britain say it is alright- kill them because we respect the territorial integrity of Nigeria. Other Nigeria-friendly countries say- we don’t involve ourselves with other sovereign country’s internal matters.
Fulani herdsmen kill them like they are inconsequential; their rights to life has been thrown to the dogs- they are worthless and infidels that don’t deserve the breathe God made.
They are killed for their religion and marginalized without measure- they were conquered in 1967 and became slaves since then- they deserve nothing and worth not a dime.
Their political future is dead; they were divided and made ineffective to deciding their political future in Nigeria. In Nigerian Red Chamber; they have minority vote and cannot influence anything, not even a bill that will benefit their people.
Their political leaders became wonderful brides because nothing can be achieved being men and standing on their own feet. Biafran Bridget is killed and a Nigerian attorney general discharges her murderers because they are the ruling class. They are killed for not being Muslims and not even their senators or House of Representatives members can defend them because they are minorities.
They divided them into Southsouth and Southeast after the war to continue to rule over them; gluttons even subscribed to that and Gowon justified the division in the name of keeping Nigeria one. This one Nigeria has done a lot to the people of Biafra because they are the working monkeys, Arewa and Oduduwa are the eating baboons.
They have realized that they are human beings; thanks to Nnamdi Kanu the liberator of their time; they are scampering for suitable life in Biafra. They are now dangerous; made dangerous by experience and self realization.
Why is Nigeria holding them so tight? Because they are Nigeria’s source of life and responsible for her breathe. They are determined to go and worship their God, live their lives and have freedom of aspiration which is limited in Nigeria.
They have protested and got killed; they have shown commitment and bravery, fearless before their enemies and Nigerian military. They have taken every bullet with passion and knowing is the price they have to pay; their lives worth so much but they gave it for the sake of their freedom.
They got arrested and never broke the prison; they were denied freedom and they endured and continued to be denied. They are harassed on daily basis and left with emotional bruises; mental torture and forced to live in fear- they are even forced to disappear.
They have asked for referendum and ready to boycott Nigerian elections and everything about Nigeria; that is the second phase of their agitation. Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest, protests, processions and subsequent deaths were the first phase.
Nigerian government has made it clear that they won’t listen to their demand for referendum; which presumes their deaths, protests, processions amidst tears and scorching sun a waste. They have also neglected the position of Nigeria and continued to press home their demand. It is impossible to neglect them because there would be price for that.
They believe in peace and have been suffering for the sake of that peace; but when peace seems not be working; they would change the approach and engage Nigeria to press home their demand or even declare Biafra. Nigeria will respond and that will kick start the long awaited second civil war.
Biafra will go to war with Nigeria very soon unless their call for referendum is heeded because denying them referendum is denying them their fundamental human right. There is no option to the call for referendum except taking us to armed conflict that referendum will yet settle. Referendum will come in advent of war; so why not avert that horror experience and give humanity a moment of peace.
By the time Biafra finishes her civil disobedience; which includes election boycott and census boycott and a referendum date is not given, it would open up a channel of war. That is when Biafra will go to a second civil war with Nigeria and it would be terrible; absolutely terrible. They will go to war with Nigeria because everything they have suffered and the death they have faced for their referendum will not be in vain.

Press Release

THE BIAFRA GENOCIDE: TIME FOR INDIA TO SUPPORT THE SOVEREIGNTY OF THE NATION OF BIAFRA

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) posit that the time has come for the government and good people of India, the United Nations, and all lovers of freedom and justice to support the sovereignty of the nation of Biafra. This is moreso after several rounds of acts of genocide being perpetually visited upon Biafrans in Nigeria, dating back to the 22nd of June 1945. From the aforementioned date till this day, Biafra has lost over ten (10) million of her citizens in the hands of the Nigerian government with the tacit support of the British government. In particular, 30% of Biafra‘s population of fifteen (15) million were killed between 1967 and 1970 alone when Nigerian government supported by the British military engaged in a genocidal war against the nation of Biafra.

Biafra existed as a separate self-governing entity even before the invasion of Africa (for purely economic reasons) by Britain and other colonizing countries. But under the force of arms and without the consent of the indigenous people of Biafra and the other constituent nations, the British government unilaterally proclaimed the amalgamation of Nigeria on January 1, 1914. This illegal and unconscionable act of 1914 co-joined into a single country, three nations with distinct but diametrically opposed and mutually exclusive value systems. From then up till this day, that unholy marriage of three strange bedfellows has produced retrogression and deaths especially to those from Biafra. This is more so when the colonialist (British government) engendered conditions that undercut the Biafran people/region and effectively put the Hausa-Fulani (of the Arewa nation) perpetually in charge of political power in Nigeria.

The Arewa nation took advantage of their vice-like grip on political power to confiscate the resources in Biafraland, disproportionately allocate political offices to themselves, enact disenfranchsing laws/constitution and, in the process, ruined the economies of the Biafrans in that contraption called Nigeria. While Biafrans were grappling with these injustices and exploitation visited upon them by the British government-imposed internal colonialist, a new dimension by way of frequent genocidal acts was introduced as early as 1945 and this culminated in the full-blown genocidal war of 1967-1970 which led to the loss of over five million Biafran lives, mostly the elderly, women, and children who died of starvation due to British government’s unilaterally imposed and enforced air/land/sea blockade of Biafraland thereby preventing food and needed medicines from reaching the populace. In addition, British military aircraft targeted their bombing raids on churches, hospitals, markets, and retirement homes resulting in the deaths of millions of Biafrans. The war of genocide was officially declared over on the 12th of January 1970 but the killing of Biafrans by the Nigerian government and her agents continued until today.

Recently, the Nigerian government embarked on a more aggressive killing of Biafrans following their assertion of the right to self-determination in consonance with the 2007 United Nations Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous People (UNDRIP) to which Nigeria is a signatory. Currently, the leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, is being illegally held and unconstitutionally prosecuted by the agents of Nigerian government for peacefully demanding the rights of Indigenous People of Biafra as enshrined in the UNDRIP. This is despite three separate and unchallenged court orders stipulating that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu be released unconditionally. Strangely, the presiding Judge in the ongoing case, Hon Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako, has indicated that she will deploy Sharia Law in her adjudication of the case, meaning that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who is a Christian as well as a British citizen, will never receive a fair hearing.

We therefore appeal to the government and good people of India to join Biafrans in the call for the separation of Biafra from Nigeria to forestall further bloodshed and injustices meted out to Biafrans in Nigeria. We have the confidence that the government and good people of India will support Biafrans and will help reach out to other nations of the world to collectively request for a UN-managed/supervised Referendum in Nigeria with respect to the quest by Biafrans to have their sovereign nation. As the largest democracy in the world, India has the moral and political responsibility to uphold universal freedom and the rights of indigenous people to self-determination anywhere in the world. We have no doubt that in this case of sovereignty for the nation of Biafra, the government and good people of India shall lead the way. The time has come for the restoration of the nation of Biafra and we are counting on the support of the government and good people of India.
God bless the good people of India and God bless Biafrans.

Presented after the Genocide Exhibition and Peace Conference which held in New Delhi, India on April 21, 2017.

I woke up this morning and I understand that Isaiah 61was written for NNAMDI KANU,
Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 61:2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. 61:4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. 61:5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. 61:6 But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves. 61:7 For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them. 61:8 For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them. 61:9 And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed. 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. 61:11 For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
