As you all can see with the link provided below, the site I've used for so long and had worked to build up my collection of music that I was so proud of over the years, has now been shut down.  And so I feel I must now apologize to you all.  Fear not, I shall not dissolve the community. But until I can find another site as satisfactory as grooveshark was, then my posts will not have nearly as much variety in terms of the number of different bands as what you are used to.

QUEENSRŸCHE Drummer Taking Paternity Leave; KAMELOT's CASEY GRILLO To Fill In

QUEENSRŸCHE drummer Scott Rockenfield will be taking time off from the band's touring activities to spend time with his newborn son, appropriately named Rockson. Filling in for him for the group's upcoming shows will be Casey Grillo (pictured) of KAMELOT.

Said QUEENSRŸCHE in a statement: "We couldn't be more excited to welcome Scott's son to the QUEENSRŸCHE family."

Added Casey: "I am very excited and humbled to be doing some shows with my favorite band of all time QUEENSRŸCHE! Congratulations to Scott Rockenfield and his family for the birth of his new son Rockson!"

Grillo will make his live debut with QUEENSRŸCHE on April 1 at Sycuan Casino in El Cajon, California.

QUEENSRŸCHE is preparing to enter the studio to begin work on the follow-up to 2015's "Condition Hüman" album, to be released later in the year via Century Media.

"Condition Hüman" debuted at No. 27 on The Billboard 200 chart, having shifted 14,000 equivalent album units in the week ending October 8, 2015.

QUEENSRŸCHE last fall completed a month-long headlining tour of the United States. Support on the trek came from ARMORED SAINT and MIDNIGHT ETERNAL.

TED NUGENT Doesn't Rule Out U.S. Senate Run: 'There's Nothing I Wouldn't Do To Make America Great Again'

Outspoken conservative rocker Ted Nugent hasn't ruled out a run for Senate in 2018, saying there's nothing he "wouldn't do to make America great again."

The 68-year-old Republican and avid Second Amendment supporter confirmed his interest in competing for Michigan Democrat Debbie Stabenow's Senate seat last week during an appearance on "The Lars Larson Show".

Nugent said (hear audio below): "Right now, I think I have 24 million Facebookers and I go anywhere from 10 million to 36 million Facebookers, so it's not a Ted Nugent hunch. I don't have a hunch about self-evident truth, logic and common sense and the American way and where quality of life comes from: a higher level of awareness, accountability and earning your own way, saving for a rainy day. Hello???? So the things that bring me and you and everybody who has a brain and a heart and a conscience a quality of life, it's really alive and well out there. Unfortunately, it's against the law in the government, the media mostly and academia. And so we've got this triad of anti-Americanism running amok out there where they just don't avoid accountability, they abandon it, they refuse to be accountable on a constitutional or a fiscal level."

He continued: "That being said, if I could run any segment of our government the way we run the Nugent family, there would be no debt, there would be secure borders, there would be a reduction in crime, there would be an increase in law and order, there would be everything that Donald Trump campaigned for."

Nugent went on to say: "That being said, I never committed to running for public office. Somebody asked me if I'd be willing to go back to Michigan and keep the 'reliably blue state' red, because that's what I did for the Trump campaign in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. I know what I'm doing. I represent the working-hard-playing-hard Americans who dedicate and sacrifice to be in the asset column. So I told the interviewer that I'd be willing to do anything to get back to the constitution and rugged individualism and accountability. I'd do anything, including running for Senate in Michigan. And so they put out a press release [saying], 'Nugent's running for the Senate.' So I haven't committed to it, but I will repeat to you, as I've said before, there's nothing I wouldn't do to make America great again, to make America safe and secure and America again. And nothing is off the table at this point."

Nugent told The Daily Caller last month that he would have to decide if his candidacy would "provide meaningful upgrades and improvements in the American quality of life for the most productive and truly needy amongst us." The aging rocker said he would need "complete support" from his family.

Michigan GOP press officer Sarah Anderson told Fox News in February that they have not spoken with Nugent.

"There's a lot of excitement here in Michigan and we think Ted Nugent would be a great candidate to win against Debbie Stabenow," Anderson said.

Nugent, a devout NRA member, suggested in a Janaury 2016 Facebook post that President Barack Obama should be hanged for treason.

Two years earlier, Nugent apologized for referring to Obama as a "subhuman mongrel," calling that word grouping "street-fighter terminology" and saying he wished he used "more understandable language," such as "violator of his oath to the Constitution."

The new lineup of GHOST gave its first live performance on Friday night (March 24) as the Swedish-based band kicked off its 2017 "Popestar" European tour in Norwich, England. As previously reported, rumors have circulated for several months that lead singer and founder Tobias Forge — who performs as Papa Emeritus — fired the entire previous lineup at the end of GHOST's fall 2016 North American tour.

Since the musicians wear masks and are only identified as Nameless Ghouls, personnel changes in the group over its eight-year existence have gone unannounced.

Earlier this month, however, Swedish guitarist Martin Persner released a video message in which he claimed to have played in GHOST for seven years under the name Omega. He also revealed that he exited the band last July, although he did not disclose the reasons for his departure.

Forge writes almost all of the group's music and does most of the act's interviews disguised as a Nameless Ghoul.

GHOST will begin recording its fourth full-length album in August, after the band returns home from a North American tour with IRON MAIDEN

TANKARD: 'One Foot In The Grave' Cover Artwork Unveiled

German alcohol-soaked thrash metal act TANKARD will release its seventeenth studio album, "One Foot In The Grave", on June 2 via Nuclear Blast. The follow-up to 2014's "R.I.B. (Rest In Beer)" was recorded at Gernhart Studios in Troisdorf with producer Martin Buchwalter (DESTRUCTION, ACCUSER, PERZONAL WAR, SUIDAKRA).

The cover artwork for "One Foot In The Grave" was created by Patrick Strogulski, who is a student of Sebastian Krüger, the recent artwork designer of TANKARD. He also created the cover artwork for the "A Girl Called Cerveza" and "R.I.B." albums. With this, the iconic band mascot, the TANKARD Alien, celebrates his return after about 13 years of absence. The alien was born in 1989 with the "Alien" EP and has already graced five album covers. The TANKARD fan club "Maniac Aliens" is also named after it.

States TANKARD vocalist Andreas "Gerre" Geremia: "Mister Strogulski has once again created a real masterpiece and surpassed himself. Our first plan was that I would be on the cover instead of the alien... but, lucky me, it ended up being the alien..."

The clip below offers a look behind the scenes of the "One Foot In The Grave" album production, as well the very first song snippets.

In past years, artists including John Mayer, Billie Joe Armstrong, Jerry Cantrell, Melissa Etheridge, Joe Satriani, Pat Monahan, Adam Sandler, Nancy Wilson, Linda Perry, Chad Smith, Vic Johnson, Tommy Lee and Kris Kristoferson have joined Hagar and Hetfield to rock the sold-out benefit concerts.
