Built a prototype cargo box for my H. Tested it today, and it flew perfectly. Wind hits it pretty hard on the sides but forward flight is not effected at all. All in all I would rate the flight 7/10. It's a good design. I lifted a light load today, just my cell phone, but I plan on putting heavier loads in it in the future.

I built something similar 2 years ago. Some info on my blog. Right now I used small PDB that came from Hobby King micro APM. http://jkyamog.blogspot.co.nz/search/label/v550

This is as far as I am getting until I get my KISS FC. Will do some more cleaning up then. No cam yet, waiting for the FC on that also. It's mounted, just not wired.

Lmao! This thing is drunk in horizon mode. Acro seems okay. Not sure how important horizon is to me any way, but playing with the pid's might be good practice.

Oh sorry, it translates to european corn borer. It is a way of biological treatment of corn insects. Pretty popular already :) http://biocare.de/language/en/

I may have neglected to use loctite.
All in all today was a successful first day as a pilot. Used up 1 battery on tuning, and 1 flying around and trying some acrobatics. I got the backflip down pretty good. Video of that once I get from my buddy.
Oh, and no actual broken parts or props. Woohoo!

+Blake Hardison Unfortunatly I can still do a good bit of tunning. I still have a little bit of wobble on yaw. I need to play with my throttle on my tx some more also. Honestly, I think I got pretty lucky with where tuning is so far.
The motors are kingkong 2205 2300kv. Just some cheapo's that are alright. I managed to knock a magnet out of socket on one. Had to disasemble the motor to get it back in place. Not sure if that eas build quality or my several hard knocks. It seems to free spin properly again. Gonna test it on my lunch.

Oh, worth noting. I am only running 4045 props. Got them on accident.

This is about as far as I will get for tonight. All my ESC's are secure. One slipped a little, so I shot some extra hot glue on it. It's still on a kilt, but it isn't moving.
Got the motors mounted and started wiring and quickly realized I had one of my CC motors backwards. Gave up for the night, but damn I am getting excited. All's good and so so close.

Got my littlebee esc's today. I got the motor leads soldered on and trying to figuring out placement. I am hell bent on tucking these little guys between my spacer. I am just not a fan of that huge hole in the center of the bottom plate. Doesn't leave a lot of surface for sticky tape.
Any ideas on how to secure these? I could zip tie them, however what you see of the esc is about it. I have way to much heat shrink on.
