Welcome! This community was born January 17, 2016. Before you get started, please check out the COMMUNITY RULES below, otherwise you may be surprised to find your post was deleted. (NO re-posting OTHER people's posts, NO Excessive posting, NO graphic content, NO shelter notices, NO breeder ads, even if disguised as 'adoption' notices)
This is the place to share YOUR videos and pictures of YOUR awesome canine fur babes living the GOOD life with THEIR families and friends! This is NOT a community for re-posting OTHER people's posts. There are plenty of other communities in which the same photo is repeatedly posted to the point of redundancy (& my boredom). Let's not do that here, thanks!
Have a picture of YOUR fido with the kids, grandkids or playing with the neighbor's dog? Or a picture of YOUR son's or daughter's fido? Or a great picture of a dog from YOUR fido's park? GREAT, post them!
But let's leave the random stock photos alone, ok? Why? Because that dog isn't YOUR FAMILY or YOUR FRIEND. As long as YOU are the ORIGINAL AUTHOR OF THE POST please share your wonderful (recognizable) pictures and videos. Thanks for your cooperation. Now enjoy each other!
Amazing Spotted Dog
*SOME DOG RULES*
If you are a professional or novice photographer wishing to post a fido that isn't yours, you must cite camera specs, name of pet and post correctly under Professional Photography category otherwise your post will be removed.
ALL EXCESSIVE POSTING WILL BE DELETED.
If it appears you are attempting to hijack this community to the point it almost looks like your own Google homestream page, then that's excessive (and obnoxious.) Posting 5, 10 or 15 items in a row, especially if within the same hour, is excessive and will be deleted. Common sense manners please; take turns sharing!
LINKS, ADs and SPAM WILL BE DELETED
To keep it simple, spam, links, and advertisements to other communities or websites will be deleted. If you're trying to help someone, please private message them on their own Google+ page.
HIGH KILL SHELTER NOTICES
This is NOT the correct community. There are other well-developed communities for reaching the correct target audience for folks that are committed and capable of truly helping in those urgent situations. (please see links below. If you have a rescue link you'd like to add, please let me know).
*If you feel compelled to post pictures of a fido in need of help, please only do so if you are DIRECTLY involved in managing that case and are able to post real-time answers to questions and FOLLOW-UP information.
GRAPHIC CONTENT WILL BE DELETED
This IS NOT the correct community for posting graphic photos of animals suffering for the SHOCK VALUE of eliciting an emotional response; especially if it's not current news, relevant to a conviction or ongoing litigation or an update involving a horrible animal abuser.
This is a community for depicting, Dogs LOVED by humans.
