Apparently I've done a very bad job of posting meeting announcements here. Our September meeting will be happening tomorrow, September 7th, at Xactware. We'll be discussing Chapter 4 of "This Is Lean" (Amazon link: https://smile.amazon.com/This-Lean-Resolving-Efficiency-Paradox-ebook/dp/9187791153/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1473196380&sr=8-1&keywords=This+is+Lean)

Our July meeting is just around the corner! We'll be meeting Wednesday, July 6th. This will be our first meeting in our new space, Xactware. They have a very nice space that they'll be lending to us.

Xactware is located at 1100 W Traverse Pkwy, Lehi, UT 84043, just over a mile from the Pluralsight Lehi office we have been meeting at. The rotating door at the front of the building will be unlocked, and you can come straight in to the classroom to sign in (don't worry, we'll be sure to have people available to help!)

This month, we're starting our discussion of "This Is Lean: Resolving the Efficiency Paradox" (Amazon link:https://www.amazon.com/This-Lean-Resolving-Efficiency-Paradox-ebook/dp/B00JZZS7Q0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1467317141&sr=8-1&keywords=this+is+lean#nav-subnav) Please read the prologue and chapter 1 so that we can discuss them together.

Our June meeting was the last meeting that we'll be able to hold at Pluralsight. We're currently looking for a new location, and would love to have your input! Please fill out this survey:

You'll notice that we're doing range voting for the locations that we've heard about so far. If you're unfamiliar with this style of voting, feel free to rank each option based on how much you like it independent of any other options

April is coming, which means another Software Craftsmanship meetup!

Our April meeting will be Wednesday, April 6th, from 6-8 PM at the Pluralsight office in Lehi (3400 N Ashton Blvd Suite 450).  We'll be discussing the last two chapters of Clean Code, Chapters 13 (Collaboration) and 14 (Mentoring, Apprenticeship, and Craftsmanship)

As a reminder, April is also the month of Code Camp (http://utahgeekevents.com/), so head over and register.  It also looks like there's still some room for more talks, so if you have an idea and haven't submitted yet, be sure and do that soon!

March's meeting is just around the corner!

We'll be meeting Wednesday, March 2nd, from 6-8 PM at the Pluralsight Lehi office (3400 N Ashton Blvd Suite 450) to discuss the craft of software.  For our reading discussion, please read Chapter 11 & 12 (Collaboration and Teams and Projects) from The Clean Coder.  We're nearing the end of this book, so come with ideas for what to investigate next!

Hope to see you there!
