I was at fivethirtyeight this morning and saw the Trump victory (now cast only) too. But if you go there now, it doesn't show the same result in the summary or the trend line. The per state margins don't quite look the same. Perhaps a mistake or perhaps they are cooking to books. I wish I had done a screen shot or print out!
If someone doesn't plan to vote because they don't like either Trump or Clinton, they should reconsider. They should cast a vote for either Johnson or Stein. Granted, if they don't like either of those choices, then they can just give up, I guess.
Is the economy in a Depression? Not if you're a corporate bigwig skimming vast gains from corporate buybacks funded by the Fed's free money for financiers. But if you're a wage earner who's seen your pay, hours and benefits cut while your healthcare costs have skyrocketed - well, if it isn't a Depression, it's a very close relative of a Depression.
"Based on my scoring, the incumbent Obama administration carries the burden of eight unfavorable keys, with another two that could turn against it before Election Day. If there is any merit in the Lichtman-DeCell framework, then the Democratic Party stands today as ineligible for rehire by the American electorate. There will be no third consecutive Democratic term under Hillary Clinton."
