Today, we would like to look in more detail at one of the essential elements of our Agro API - Satellite images API. Satellite images API is the dataset from the Landsat8 and Sentinel2 satellites on the basis of which we calculate quantitative indices, such as NDVI, EVI, and others, and from which we also obtain ready-made images of territories in True and False color, NDVI, and EVI.

Hi, everyone! We continue to bring good news to you agricultural developers out there!

Please turn your attention to our new API, which comes as part of our Agro API product https://agromonitoring.com/, for Current and History soil data. This is an absolutely new data set for soil moisture, soil surface temperature, and temperature to a depth of 4" (10 cm).

Data is updated twice a day, and it can be obtained for both coordinates and polygons. Data is available in JSON

VANE Platform News:
Bands metadata is added to the Query Builder interface panel. By hovering your cursor over the icon with the band number you can obtain data on color (red, nir, swir, etc.), wavelength and resolution.
What’s more, to make the selection of the required band set* as simple as possible, there is a preset displaying of active bands based on API metadata. If there is no metadata available for the selected date or territory for one or another band, they become inactive (the icons turn grey).
* It’s not possible to alter the band set selection for truecolor, falsecolor and ndvi presets. For these, the band sets come pre-installed.
