"How do you catch a cloud and pin it down?!"
I set out to the waterfront to capture the pylons during the recession of low tide at sunset - this doesn't happen every night so I had to carefully plan for it. I did so this particular evening only because the forecast called for cloudy skies. I get there early enough to set up my equipment for some long exposures hoping to capture the dramatic sky in action during the setting sun. As soon as I get everything set up BAM all clouds dissipate and I once again am left with crystal clear blue skies. Given this isn't the first time this has happened to me, I am beginning to think that I am repelling my clouds away. Hmmm?!
"How do you keep a wave upon the sand?!" :-/
