We drove past this farm in the mountains that is for sale, and I thought that this would be the ideal place to stay - isolated, in the forest and the hills and amongst nature. It, although I have never been there, somehow reminded me a bit of Switzerland.
I took some artistic licence and created a painterly effect here. I also broke one of the cardinal rules of photography by placing the horizon in the centre of the photo - but somehow it felt right. I did, however, leave the power cables in the photo as I thought that helped to break up the problem of the horizon being in the centre.
I would appreciate some comments and advice about all this.
This was a five photo HDR processed in Photomatix and then in Photoshop and Topaz Simplify.
