its already hard enough to recruit these days now they have rules they can hit you with retroactively if player decommitt
LSU football coach Les Miles visited the home of recruit Matt Womack on Oct. 28. At the time of the visit, it was perfectly within NCAA rules.

Recruits decommit on a regular basis. Miles was going around the rules for in home visits during a period when it was banned. I think the sanctions are justified in this case and LSU plans not to appeal.

Due largely to is design, it's easily one of the loudest stadiums in college football. That place is nuts.

Should make a rivalry more intense.
Texas A&M defensive coordinator John Chavis is suing his new employer and his former one, LSU, over a contract dispute.

I don't see him as a bust. He had injuries that factored into his ability to be effective...same as Kolby and Rose in basketball; RG III in football; and Saunders and Upton, Jr in baseball. The body can only withstand so much.

B1G will be ruled BIGTIME by the East Division (again) this season. Two of the perrinial West powers will be ushering in new Head Coaches, Wisconsin and Nebraska, and have huge athletic attrition. No more Melvin Gordon toting the rock in Madison, no more Abdullah, Bell or Gregory in Lincoln.

The East returns a lot of experience at QB, Hackenburg at PSU, Sudfeld at Indiana, Cook at MSU and the 3 headed monster at OSU. Plenty of returning impact players on both sides of the ball for OSU, PSU and MSU.

East West
OSU 11-1 Minnesota 9-3
MSU 10-2 NW 8-4
PSU 10-2 Wisky 8-4

OSU gets knocked off at home by Penn State.
OHIO STATE beats Minnesota in Championship.

Austin Kendall I look for him to decommit from Tennessee, and go with the Big Blue. I guess according to the +The GOAT he'll be trash too. This trash will take the Vols out of the SEC east come Oct 31st. Write it down. GO BIG BLUE! #BBN
With the commitment of Ohio tight end Justin Rigg, Kentucky is up to ten commitments for the 2016 class. That is, by most accounts, about half of what they plan to take this year. It’s a class that is filling up quickly, much like the heralded 2014 class that Kentucky hauled in. There is a […]

You can't stand the facts can you? You guys are absolutely awful. You guys got beat by WKU two years in a ROW!!! You had to take them off of your schedule because you guys couldn't beat them. 2-8 two years in a row as well. Then all of the sudden you guys are 5-1 and you guys act like you are winning the SEC east, but what happens? You get humiliated the final 6 games and finish 5-7 LMAO. Say what you want about UT, but accept the fact that we dominate you scrubs every year. You guys have no hope. That's why everyone marks you all as a W when they see Tennessee's schedule LMAO.

Retroactively penalized? Because a kid changes his mind. I don't like LSU, but this sounds stupid.
NCAA rules allow coaches more leeway to contact recruits who have submitted financial aid forms, but coaches are deemed retroactively in violation if such recruits decide to enroll at another school. LSU spokesman Michael Bonnette says the Tigers received a two-year ban on offering financial aid agreements to freshmen enrolling in the spring semester - called early enrollees. Also, coaches will have the number of days they can evaluate recruits...

Houston, Central Florida, Ohio and San Diego State should be dream jobs with the recruiting bases. But they haven't matched Boise's sustained success.

+Garrett Barker Only time will tell if what's said during interviews will be enough to get him drafted at #1. And, we hope what's being said by him during interviews will match his actions once being drafted. Surely he's not giving us lip service?!
