10. According to the World Bank, the India’s GDP growth will be at 7.3% for the next financial year 2018-19 and accelerate further to 7.5% in 2019-20.
विश्व बैंक के अनुसार , भारत की सकल घरेलू उत्पाद की वृद्धि अगले वित्तीय वर्ष 2018-19 में 7.3% रहेगी और 201 9 -20 में बढ़कर 7.5% हो जाएगी।

Australia - Sydney - Queen Victoria Building
This is the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney. It is a Mekka for photographers. It is very beautiful with all it’s tiles, skylight roof and 100s a small shops with all kinds of goodies. They even have a couple of danish specialities. And then they have these two great watches hanging. This one has got a small ship going round and around. It is on the right hand side on the photo. The ‘Lost’ city of Petra in Jordan was a prominent centre of trade thousands of years ago and was located at the cross-roads of ancient Near East. Believed to be established by the Nabataeans, the city flourished as trade flourished between Arabia, Egypt and Syria.

At the height of its prosperity, the city probably housed as many as 20,000 inhabitants.

Myanmar and India signed four agreements to boost bilateral cooperation

India and Myanmar have signed four agreements following bilateral talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and visiting Myanmar President Htin Kyaw. President Kyaw was on a four-day visit to India from 27 August to 30 August 2016.

1. The first agreement pertains to the construction of 69 bridges on the Tamu-Kalewa section of the trilateral highway connecting India, Myanmar and Thailand.
2. The second agreement is on upgrading the Kalewa-Yargi section of the trilateral highway.
3. The third agreement is for cooperation in the field of renewable energy,
4. The fourth agreement cooperation in the field of Traditional Systems of Medicine.

Today is the birth anniversary of major Dhayan Chand the legend of hockey .Dhayan Chand was born on 29 August 1905 in Allahabad Utter Pradesh.His mother's name was shardha Singh and Father's name was sameshwar Singh.His father was in the British Indian army and played hockey.Dhayan Chand joined British army at the age of 16. at that time he started to play hockey in army tournaments.in a career spanning from 1926-1948, Dhayan Chand scored over 1000 goals.Authorities of Netherland broke his hockey stick to inspect if there was a magnet inside it.impressed by Dhayan Chand Adolf Hitler offered him German citizenship.Dhayan Chand led India to three Olympic gold medal in 1928,1932, and 1936.he was given the Padam bhushan award in 1956.He is yet to be awarded the Bharat Ratna by the Indian government.His birthday is celebrated as national sports day in India.

Himachal Health Minister launches ambulance mobile app

Himachal Pradesh Health Minister Kaul Singh Thakur has launched a mobile application called '108 HP' to facilitate efficient access to ambulances for medical emergencies.

On this occasion, he also flagged off five new ambulances under 108- National Ambulance Service from the historic Ridge Maidan. Quoting sources, our correspondent reports that now the number of ambulances under the service has increased to 199.
