This place is cute and the food was tasty. We had a Reuben, beef & barley soup, butternut squash soup, and a pear/prosciutto panini.

Breakfast is over at 11:00, so get there early, if you want it versus lunch.

I've driven pass this place for many years. We finally stopped in last week and had a really good late night meal. The place is 24 hours most days. We entered at 1145 on a weekday that it listed as closing at 12am. We were told not to worry about the time and to sit down. We ordered and about 6 others came in to have a meal. Thursdays they have $1.99 lime margaritas. I'm going to revisit for that and to try other dishes. I had the Tortas Cubanos.

Soo Café - at Brentwood and Capital Blvd.  It is with some reticence that I post this here, because I want to keep it all to myself, but I suppose it is also a find that must be shared.  The specialty of Soo Cafe is Korean fried chicken.  After visiting, Soo Cafe has become the one and only KFC in my mind.  If you love fried chicken, then your mind will be blown by this place.

Korean fried chicken is fried multiple times, each time receiving a thin coating of seasoned flour and then fried at a lower temperature.  You can have the chicken plain, or you can add a delicious sweet-soy, garlic sauce to it.  Soy-garlic chicken finds a balance between sweet and tart that hasn’t been seen since Tonya Harding. Each bite leaves your lips barely sticky, a fine glaze of salty, sweet-nutty film on your teeth.

A second sauce option is a spicy, sweet soy glaze.  It too is delicious, but nothing tops the soy-garlic in my book.  Hope you all enjoy.

This place was great. Buy one, get one free sushi rolls. Reasonable prices for entrees. Food was definitely a notch above others than I have been to in the area.

Raleigh/Triangle area people...  sorry for the off-topic question, but what do you think of T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon?... I have Sprint now and I'm continually disappointed in the service and dropped calls.   I need to switch, and I'm wondering if Verizon's added cost is worth it, and if I'll be happy with T-Mobile or AT&T's service area/speed...  Thanks!

If you are in Holly Springs, this place is worth the stop. Pad Thai, and Spicy Basil Stir fry were awesome!

Went to Jimmy V's new Osteria in downtown Raleigh in order to sit out and listen to the bluegrass festival on Fayetteville Street last weekend.  Food was decent for the price.  I will say that most things were under-seasoned, but that is easily remedied.  Thin, Italian-style, crispy pizzas from $10-14.  Decent charcuterie selection for $14.  Overall, the great location will keep this one afloat.  I probably won't have dinner here again, but drinks and apps will be on the schedule.

Has anyone been to Oryx on Glenwood in Raleigh?

Had dinner here last night. Good Mexican fare, great portions. Great drink specials.

The reason I went there was to use a free dinner coupon they sent me when I moved to the area. I was really disappointed when they would not let us use the coupon because we decided to partake in the .99 beer special.

I will go back, but I will admit, this place is a little screwed up too.
Dinner...and another reason to run tomorrow.
