The Bridge of the Golden Wood: A Parable on How to Earn a Living for it's primary school financial literacy curriculum. "A child with a knack for solving problems helps some hungry fish and finds a treasure. Asian story teaches the value of work and includes career and business ideas plus online resources (for ages 4+). Young children will be captivated by the fable; older ones will want to apply the things they learn. 530 words in dyslexic-friendly font by a former Silicon Valley recruiter".

Safe Rides-Saves Lives PSA Contest

Safe Rides is a contest that allows FCCLA members to develop and create a video Public Service Announcement (PSA). Cash prizes are awarded to the top three submission, including a $500 1st place award. The contest begins July 17th. the deadline for entries is December 1, 2017.

FCCLA is partnering with Ford Driving Skills for Life and Governors Highway Safety Association to award the top FACTS project in each state a $500 cash award. Conduct a FACTS project during the school year and submit a program award application by March 1, 2018.
