Hi everyone,
This week I will be sharing my experience with activity theory as a framework for investigating innovation with educational technologies.

It would be advantageous for you to read sections 2.0 and 2.1 from this article in advance of the session. It is available through the UVic library.

Blin, F., & Munro, M. (2008). Why hasn’t technology disrupted academics’ teaching practices? Understanding resistance to change through the lens of activity theory. Computers & Education, 50(2), 475-490.

Feel free to read the whole thing but if this competes for your time, those two sections will give you some background and context. Try to generate a couple questions or concerns based on the reading for discussion.
