The U.S. District Court of Arizona has released an amended bellwether discovery schedule for ongoing litigation regarding #Bard #IVC filers. The schedule sets the deadline for the expected completion of additional case-specific discovery other than medical witness depositions as Aug. 15 for Bellwether Group 1.

The U.S. Supreme Court has handed down a ruling that could limit the legal forums available to plaintiffs in cases where alleged injured parties are spread across multiple states. In Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. v. Superior Court of California, San Francisco, et al., the Supreme Court found that California lacked the jurisdiction to handle nonresidents' claims. Bristol-Myers Squibb had sought to quash summons regarding nonresidents' claims related to alleged health damage caused by the drug #Plavix.
