My team and I at CSU Channel Islands are happy to announce that we are sharing the curriculum for our online faculty development offering, Humanizing Online Learning, under a CC-BY-NC license.

We are developing the adoption toolkit now, which will be made available to lead faculty from adopting institutions who complete the class with me. If you'd like to learn more about the class, please read the blog post below. If you have support from your institution for adopting the curriculum (or you'd like to learn more), please message me directly at michelle.pacansky-brock@csuci.edu. Thanks!

This past semester, CSU Channel Islands completed a series of accessibility tests on VoiceThread, which included a screenreader test on VoiceThread Universal and the development of a dual-phased captioning process (through an integration with VoiceThread and Automatic Sync Technologies). As a result, CI has prepared a VoiceThread accommodations plan for students with disabilities. The plan is available online at the link below and has been shared with a CC-BY license.

Hi there, folks. I've heard from two faculty today about VoiceThread presentations they are giving on their campus this week. I thought I'd share this link to a resource page I put together for one of my own presentations this summer. At the top of the page, you'll see an embedded Google Slide presentation. All of those slides are shared with a CC-BY license so you are free to re-use any of them with a simple attribution to me. You can download the deck by clicking on the Google Slides logo in the lower right corner and then once Google Slides opens (and you sign into your account), click on "File" and "Download as." I hope this is helpful!
