I've decided to post background stories on each of our animals. So lets start with the horses, shall we?

Dundee, as you might have seen, is our red dun. His story isn't has heart felt as the others, but we still love our fat man!

Crocodile Dundee or just Dundee came from a family member, he was a pasture and wasn't really paid attention too. We acquired him because he was actually used as an engagement gift. He has lived with us for over 4 years now and it definitely shows that he is spoiled. He is about 10 to 11 years old and stands at about 15 hands. He is one of our biggest babies on the farm, but we still love him. He is the gentlest giant there could ever be!

If you have any questions about Dundee PM me!

I think it's about time we introduce the family! Let's start of with Gateway Farms ever growing horses!

We have three beautiful horses with more to come, but for now lets introduce these gorgeous animals.

Dundee is our quarter horse, morgan mix, he is a gelding, the red dun with the blaze on his face.
Dreamer is our rescued appaloosa colt, he is near blanket, the one with the most color.
Pheobe is our appaloosa brood mare (Which means we paid to have her bred to our stud), she is the darkest with the frosted butt.

I will post a little background story on each of our horses!

We have one more horse and that is our brood mare PHEOBE!!!!

Pheobe isn't actually our horse, we are paying to keep her long enough to breed her to Dreamer. Though I do know a little of her background. She's a frosted appaloosa, and shes about 15 hands. She is a retired English rider, she used to do jumping, dressage and etc. We are happy to have her here with us and can't wait for a beautiful foal from her!

Any questions about Pheobe or the rest of the gang? PM me!

The next background story is about.... DREAMER!!!!!

Dream Catcher or Dreamer's story is very special to us. We rescued him off of a meat truck last winter, these meat trucks ship unwanted horses to be butchered, he is nearly 3 years old. When we got him he was so banged up he had infected cuts and had to take antibiotics, he is still a stallion, he hasn't been gelded yet. It took us a lot of effort to get him to gain wait and he still has growing to do! By the time he's full grouwn he'll be nearly 17 hands! Hes a near blanket appaloosa. He's the lucky guy we are planning to breed to Pheobe. Thank God we were able to get him off that meat truck, but we have to remember that there are many more horses that weren't able to get rescued in time, so please help by looking into the situation and help shut down slaughter barns!!

For any more information on Dreamer or our facilities PM me!
