#Peace   (09/18/16)
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Isaiah 26:3

If we are not at peace with God it is impossible to be at peace with anyone.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
Matthew 5:9

Today I went to a "Celebration of WORLD PEACE DAY 2016"
It was a summit of incredible "women leaders working to create sustainable positive change to our world" The highlight for me was to see many women who are Christians talk about God freely that was outside of the walls of church that was held not in a church environment. This one lady prayed before she started her presentation. I was shock but it made me very proud. This was not a church event.

Who we are as Christians will be demonstrated in everything we do as a Christian.

The theme was "Peace" It was a blessing to connect with some many amazing women.

The God of peace be with you all. Amen. Romans 15:33

May this song "You are my peace" start the journey to achieve your peace by speaking scriptural peace to all your situation and internal conflicts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KQ8naF92Q4

Last night in corporate prayer, I witnessed something that brought me to tears. I heard the prayers of someone who had experienced deep pain intercede on behalf of another who was going through something similar. I cried because her past pain allowed her to intercede from a place of love. In that moment I realized that her pain was not wasted, it was being redeemed.

Jesus is the greatest example of an intercessor. The pain He experienced on the cross was a form of intercession for me and you. His death purchased my redemption. My salvation proves that His pain was not wasted. His intercession for me did not stop at the cross because the scripture tells me that He is now sitting at the right hand of the father making intercession on my behalf.

We all have stories of difficulties we have had to endure. THose stories can either leave us bitter (wasting our pain) or push us to another level of intimacy with God and making us powerful intercessors (redeemed pain). I leave you with the following questions; what are you doing with the pain you have endured? Are you wasting it or allowing the Lord to redeem it through your prayers of intercession for others.

Be blessed!

Your edges are worn and frayed. Your words have faded from decades of a loving finger tracing their steps. Your spine is creased and your cover cracked from hours bent upon a weary lap. And yet you change my life each time I open your familiar pages. No other book can bring such hope. No other story continues to teach me new truths as I mature and journey through this life. Though I have read you over and over, yet you still speak to my heart. Though I memorize your lessons, I find even more and more how much I long to hold you in my hands. You are my love letter. Proof that my Savior cares. Guidelines for my life and an ointment for my soul. I hear my Savior’s voice in your lines. I see His face in the heart of your stories. You are the Word of my God, my most precious companion in every situation. You hold the story of my hope. You whisper of my future and my healing. You shout out for me to share you with the world. May you never collect dust. May you never be forgotten. And though my hands grow tired and weary, though my eyesight strains to see your treasure, may you always reside in my heart and perch on my lips until that day I lay you down and look up from life’s exhausting struggles. On that day I will say goodbye. My friend, you held me when I knew no other, but now I don’t need to hold your hand. You told me stories I now can see and whispered of a place to which I now belong. I leave you to offer comfort for another. Thank you for being my most cherished friend and leading me home.

“We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.” (Colossians 1:28) As we live our lives for God we should be focused on teaching others to do the same. True, we need to lead by example, but there is more to making disciples than leaving a path worth following. We need to be intentional in training up those who follow. As believers, we have a responsibility to proclaim, admonish and teach. If we merely proclaim, we don’t ensure that the people who hear our message ever grow or even understand. If all we do is admonish we run the risk of crushing the joy from a young believer’s life and driving them away from the very Savior they need so desperately. It is with teaching that all these qualities come together into the training of the believer. Training is not always pleasant, but always beneficial. Discipleship implies a movement from immature to mature; from self-centered to Christ-centered; and from follower to leader. Our walk is a cycle of love. We hear the message of God’s love and are taught how to live our lives holy and in line with God’s word. In turn, we teach others to follow and lovingly correct to draw them back to God. Eventually, those who were taught become the teacher of the next generation of believers. That is why it is so important that we both follow and lead well. 2 Timothy 4:2 says, “Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage – with great patience and careful instruction.

The forgiveness that defines our lives affects the way we interact with others. If it doesn’t, we aren’t living the faith we profess to have. Sometimes it may feel like the world is one gigantic testing ground, and perhaps it is. Every time we profess our faith, we run the risk of encountering a person who hates us for it. Every time we make a mistake, we leave ourselves open for attack. Every time we are reminded of the times we failed in the past, we invite that dreaded condemnation into our heart. The answer to all these things is the opposite of judging. It is love, love that flows from the cross, through our forgiven lives and into the world around us. The very definition of forgiveness includes an agape (the highest, completely unconditional) form of love. To be forgiving means that we have to give up our claim to restitution, give up our resentment, and eliminate any account of the offense in our hearts. No human can do that without understanding that we are merely being asked to do what Jesus did for us on the cross. We did not deserve it any more than the one we offer it to does. We cannot repay it, and therefore should not expect others to repay us. Forgiveness is love. And, “We love because He first loved us. If anyone says, ‘I love God,’ yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.” (1 John 4:19-20)

#SomethingToThinkAbout  #Scriptural #Devotional  (09/16/16)

#PROBLEM
For those of you who may not know the source of your problem, is scripturally acknowledge in Ephesians 6:12 "for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. 2 Corinthians 10:4-6

#SOLUTION
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. Ephesians 6:10-20

YOUR NEW ACTION PLAN 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Practice scripture and always remind yourself God's, "love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

#SUMMARY
Be the scriptural change you want to scripturally see in this world that is in crisis.

Lord today I left my hands in total praise to you.

Women of God - hear ye me! Hear ye me! :-)

I am asking for your help this morning. Let me explain.

As Christians, I am sure you will agree that we have been tasked by Jesus to preach the gospel and make disciples. Bearing this in mind and in accordance with Matthew 28:18-20 and 2 Corinthians 5:18-20, I wrote a post earlier this year.

Ambassadors of Christ, we have been given the ministry of reconciliation.  Will you help me share the good news of the gospel with the lost and reach out to the backslidden?

Please read this post and then do your part to help spread the good news online by re-blogging this post and sharing with your social media connections.

Many, many thanks for your good will and co-operation.

May the Peace of God reign in your hearts - have a blessed weekend!
This post is an invitation to paradise – a place where there are no troubles, trials or tears. The invitation is open to everyone and yet it is often ignored. If you’ve already accepted – congrat…
