METABEDU (pronounce; Meh-tah-BEE' doo)The liberation of individuals participating in Metabedu comes through _*actions*_ that educate
and empower people to lead fully holistically free lives and through dynamic exploration and application of principals of the world we live in and the "unseen world." We constantly seek to make that unseen world more seen more accessible and to be the change we want to see
by any means that recognizes our connectedness and brings us in sync with ourselves, our neighbors and our world.
The term METABEDU- (pronounced, Meh tah BEE’ doo)[http://bit.ly/1DOp1TW]
Comes from the word meta as in metaphysics which attempts to clarify the fundamental notions by which people understand the world,
e.g., existence, objects and their properties, space and time, cause and effect, and POSSIBILITY.
Of the many variants of meaning the following maybe the closest approximation of the meta in METABEDU though all of the iterations have merit,
Meta- "after", "beyond", "adjacent", "self", also is a prefix used in English (and other Greek-owing languages) to indicate a concept which is an abstraction from another concept, used to complete or add to the latter.
In epistemology, the prefix meta- is used to mean about (its own category).
For example, metadata are data about data (who has produced them, when, what format the data are in and so on).
Also, meta emotion in psychology means an individual's emotion about his/her own basic emotion, or somebody else's basic emotion. (source:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meta)
Metacognition in short is thinking about thinking.
About "BEDU"- the term bedu re-presents _Do Be Do Be Do_, referenced and appropriated by quantum physicist, Dr. Amit Goswami , from Frank Sinatra with the great Ella Fitzgerald being the originator of this scat singing.:-).
Dr. Goswami theorizes that action is in the ego and non action is in the being and that we need both so it is not do do do nor is it be be be but it is do be do be do.
And again welcome to _Metabedu_
