We are trying to curate the most needed replacements for a smartwatch. What are some things do smartwatch owners need to replace often? Power cord? Bands?

i would say the charging cord or cradle. I own 4 smart watches and none charge the same way. so if you lose the cradle or cord you are pretty much out of luck till you get one from the manufacture.

also the watch face itself, i had my pebble for like a week before i suffered its  first scratch.

+Adam Zeis any chance you could do a help article on recommended Android apps for the Pebble? Ex. Music Boss, Glance, Notification Center for Pebble, etc. Thanks!

+Adam Zeis I dislike how Pebble Notifier still uses Accessibility instead of the Notification checker. Also for some reason, it doesn't get non-sms Hangouts messages for me (SMS works fine). Regardless, being on Beta10 and unable to sideload apps, I can't use Notification Center even if I wanted to.

I saw this in the appstore and thought it was funny. Great app for daily workouts.

Yesterday Google announced Android Wear, a new Android platform for wearable devices. Android Wear will be available on various smartwatches from OEMs like Samsung, Asus, Motorola, LG and others. LG and Motorola have already announced devices that will be out later this summer. The G Watch and Moto 360 will be some of the first Android Wear devices to hit the streets, and if what...

Pebble Original - $110 on eBay
Pebble Steel - $249

Steel Benefits:
- Slimmer, Metal Chassis
- Double Flash Memory
- Gorilla Glass
- RGB Notification LED

Is there anything else I'm missing? I'm trying to justify the price here. Big sellers so far are double flash memory and Gorilla Glass, but are they worth an extra $130 is the question.

Wow, all that has cost me $138 total, so the difference b/w original and steel was much more noticeable to me
