Pom pom beach kimono … with a little ric rac to add to the retro vibe.
Who doesn't love a pom pom trim? And ric rac? A little bit retro, a little bit cute, a little bit stylish. Combine that with my love of sewing and my version of the pom pom beach kimono is here. You know I love to sew, I love the beach and I love a few pom ...

Nice sweater. Great job in spite of the "mistakes" you, as the seamstress, can see. As you said, only someone who sews would notice them.

Check out Emily's challenge that I'm taking part in! I think it will be a great way to keep on track with sewing AND blogging at the same time :-)
I decided since most of my year will focus around the topics from the The Sew '16 challenge I talked about in my last post, that I should make a post that I can reference and update with completed links and what not to make i...

+Natasha H You're right. I could easily adapt those to all my crafts. My blog is brand new, just one post so far. The second one is ready to go up but I've been disconnected from the internet due to a tech support guy's mistake. The second one will hopefully go up today. Here's the link to the first one: http://krpventuresllc.com/category/blog-for-krp-ventures-llc/ It's still a work in progress so expect some changes as I figure things out and learn how to do what I want to do.

I was a sucker for this vintage patchwork but didn't really need another bag....How to refashion a jacket from a thrift shop hobo bag. I made this as a film costume and here it is on set but it is just as suitable for streetwear. All the very best from Normandie, Sue
