I wanted to let you know about Xerocraft, Tucsons non-profit hackerspace, and a kickstarter campaign we are running to help us renovate our new location. As part as our goal of moving to a larger space in the Stienfeld warehouse on 101 W 6th St, we are in the process of renovating our new location including installing all new electrical service, upgrading the plumbing, and building out the inside with more workspaces and equipment which we are in short supply of in our current cramped building. One issue we always seem to have when taking on such large projects is funding. Right now we are running a kickstarter campaign to raise money to help pay for copper wiring, plumbing supplies, permitting fees, building fixtures, and everything else required to get our certificate of occupancy so we can move into our new space. We are asking for $3k but the more we can raise, the better. All extra money we earn will be put toward new tools and equipment for the space which will be available to the community just as our current tools are.
Please check out our Kickstarter campaign for more information including a video about us, pictures of the workspace, our current funding goals, and reward levels for donating. Once again, any money we raise beyond our funding goal goes right back into our workspace to buy/upgrade equipment, improve our workspace, and help us improve our offerings to the community.

Thanks for your time and feel free to ask me any questions if you have them. We also have this posted on /r/Tucson on Reddit and on our Facebook page where people are asking questions as well.
