I bought a Lolita dress off Wish
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of it.
I took pictures of the journy and of the dress. Although none of me wearing it.

Because as good as it is the arm sleeves are too narrow for my arms and there is not room for my breasts, other than that the length and everything on it is well fit.

Hello there! I'm relatively new to lolita and want to start getting some dresses for my first coord (which will be Classic). Before, I didn't really know what Lolita was, so I made a coord that wasn't according to the guidelines and as a result was called an ita. Now 'ita', in my opinion, is a horrible thing to say, so I would never use it in critique. But looking back, that was my wake-up call. I thought 'wait, if this isn't Lolita, what is?'

So I did my research. I learnt the rules (you have to wear a petticoat with a dress, maid cosplay isn't lolita, don't wear black and cheap white lace etc etc), researched the styles (I at first loved Sweet lolita, but then decided Classic bordering on Sweet was more my thing) and found some good shops (I have not bought a Lolita item before so spent ages looking for affordable shops with good mentions from Lolita bloggers). As of now, I have my eye on l592 and l593 from Bodyline and some cute brown shoes, maybe boots. I want to alter the l592 dress a bit - cut off the bows on the hem and make one into a hair clip and sew the other onto a beret.

I have a couple of questions too:
How do you match dress and petticoat, apart from silhouette and length? What type is good to get?
What hair accessories are good for Classic/Sweet lolita?

Other than that, good day! I hope I can get some good tips here and learn even more about this wonderful fashion.
