New community for anyone who fly fishes the state of Missouri is welcome.

Brand new to Kayaking. Have a 12 ft. sit in fishing kayak, mostly pond fishing. Any suggestions on anchoring systems would be appreciated.

Hi Everyone

New to the forum.......hope I am posting my question correctly.

Heading to Table Rock for a "memory" trip with my boys and our Baseball Team next weekend. Wanted to stop on the way down and drop Kayaks in the Jacks Fork River. Would really like to get up in the Cliffs near The Progs / Buck Hollow area if possible.

Can anyone give me a recent water report. Novice at this.....but did some research and that area can be low water this time of year. But all the info available makes it sound like a great spot to be.

Thanks for your assistance.

Kevin

I am actually on the IL side of the river, but I am directly on the other side of JB bridge. Looking into purchasing my first kayak and will want to see about tips and location in MO. I split my fishing in IL and MO. Mostly bass fish but have been known to have some beers and sit on the bank and go after some Cat. Let me know if anyone is close to St. Louis.
