DEDICATION & NOTE - From Songwriter & Page Host, Ann M. Wolf: "This page is dedicated to those who have given their lives for our freedom. For more than a century, the Soldier's Cross has been a way that the Fallen have been recognized both on the Battlefield and in the homeland. I have been presenting the Missing Man Table Ceremony for many years and recently added the Soldier's Cross Ceremony to my program. Believing that it is important to recognize KIAs' along with our POWs & MIAs, I worked to create a Ceremony with the assistance of Combat Wounded, SSG Brad Heun, member of the Tennessee Volunteer State Honor Guard. Brad supplied some critical history notes from which I was able to develop a narration script. I then took the words into the recording studio and together with my producer Tracy Collins (who supplied the beautiful music), we were able to create the soundtrack for the Ceremony & subsequently develop the video as well. It is my heartfelt desire that the Soldier's Cross Ceremony eventually become part of the our tradition of honor & remembrance such as what the Missing Man Table Ceremony has become. Remember, Honor, Never Forget. Sincerely, Ann M. Wolf"

SCRIPT (Excerpt):

"Remember, Honor, and Impart the Value and Price of Freedom….that is the mission for every citizen of the United States of America to embrace, who lives under the Flag of Liberty.

During our brief history as a nation, hundreds of thousands of our “finest” have laid down their lives for the cause of Freedom.

Then, approximately 83,000 over the last century alone, were captured, suffering unspeakable torment while others became missing and have not yet been found.

Meanwhile, countless others have sustained injuries, some which healed, while other wounds were life-altering, leaving the veteran to cope daily with a high level of anguish, often impossible to speak of…

Today, we honor, we remember, and we thank all of these ones who suffered on our behalf, for the cause of Liberty and most especially, those who have paid the ultimate Price for our Freedom, having given all."...READ MORE OF THIS CEREMONY:
