❤️❤️Do you love beets?❤️❤️ Not only are they beautiful and delicious, they're also high in fiber and rich in nutrients.
Beets are loaded with potassium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, beta-cyanine, vitamins A, B, and C, beta-carotene, folic acid as well as many other valuable nutrients.
Word on the street is that they purify the blood, cleanse the liver, and even prevent some forms of cancer.
Best way to cook them? Peel and slice or dice them, place them in a covered roasting dish, and bake at 350 degrees for about an hour. Add a little olive oil if you want to make a yummy side dish.
You can also store your roasted beets in the fridge to add to salads or even smoothies.
Steam the beet greens (tops) and add a little olive oil and a pinch of Himalayan salt, for another healthy side dish.
So? What do you think about beets? Do you already eat them, or are you going to start? :) Don't forget to get on the mailing list for my new eBook series, Skinny Dip! Full meal and fitness plan for healthy weightloss! ❤️ www.skinnydipfitness.ca
