Novice Warfare player player here. Need some help, deciding weather to take the plunge into Dust BATTLEFIELD. Has anyone here compared the the game flow between Battlefield and Warfare? What's your take?

For Warfare the original dice are all you need. They cover most situations in the new Tactics but are required a few times. I just use regular d6 when they occur.

I've played with the battlefront cards. Except for sime errors in errata'd units they are fine as helpers.

As anyone seen an "offical" or fan-generated set of rules dealing with the damage/destruction of buildings and occupants within?

Christmas haul part 1:
Remember that sale fantasy flight had on their website? B/c ownership of dust is moving to battlefront games(flamesowar), there was a blowout on dust minis, $4 per infantry box, $9 per anything else. I was able to complete the song of Russia, as well as get a few bits for axis and allies, plusthat big tenement building.( for IG, copters are Valkyries, walkers are armoured sentinels, and IS-5s are machariuses)
Also, imperial assault!

I was lucky I'd just sold a bunch of old books. I was holding on to the money for Xwing wave 5 but it looks like Dust has come along to take the money instead.

To add a little realism (...the unpredictable of objects falling from the sky...), I was of thinking modifying the rules for Artillery and Air Drops to utilize GW's "Scatter dice" or something similar.
Any thoughts?

Camuflage and dug-in costs extra points, and yet is a sniper unit two times more expensive infantry. Additionally camouflage protects only to discover, because after detecting units can all shoot her. Sniper is a silent killer that is waiting for the right moment to shoot and after the shot quickly evacuated. Of course, such weapons like grenades, flamethrowers, artillery guns should deal damage normally. At last this area damage.

"Should I stay... or Should I go?": The spat between Dust Studio and Battlefront has eroded the enthusiasm of even the most faithful player over what is... (was?) a great game. How do you feel? Are you still active in the game? Have you lost money in the Kickstarter fiasco? Are you still a believer?

I could care less about the kick starter debalicle. I have been wanting a new faction for years. If they want this game to keep going it needs new life breached into it And fast. Show the player's that it is going somewhere.

I finally got back to painting some Dust. It's been over a year. I'll finish off the infantry and then go through all of the vehicles I've added in that time. Then on to the SSU.

Hi guys, first look at the draft DUST Adventures RPG cover by Spanish artist Pintureiro - remember if you pre-order DUST Adventures by 31st Jan from Modiphius, you get the Operation: Apocalypse campaign PDF for free. www.modiphius.com/dust-adventures - And yes you'll be able to bring your characters in to Warfare and Tactics!

I'm looking forward to the new Basius moulds on Kickstarter, but got a bit impatient tonight, so had a go at creating my own base-toppers from some left-over junk, some polymorph (low temperature melting plastic) and a bit of green stuff. The results were - surprisingly - not too shabby!

Recently a few of the nerds were quite taken by a Kickstarter project called Basius. It's a set of resin moulds from which you can create interesting-looking "base toppers" for 28mm miniatures. A few of us even pledged for one, to see what they were like. Having spent the last few days in front ...

Low cost terrain.

28mm trees are always sort of tough to model right. True scale seems to dwarf the table. At the same time, I'd rather pony up cash for more models than get super realistic terrain. I just am happy with something presentable at the table.

I stumbled across a blog post where a person used plastic scouring pads for trees and fell in love with the idea. Working a bit with some materials I was able to whip up some myself. Certainly could use more flock on the bases to hide the hot glue I used for the trunks and bases, but they are very sturdy. They aren't too shabby for something simple on the tabletop, not to mention cheap and easy to whip up.

Almost ready ruined building a few small touches and finish. Do you have any ideas on what it can add to its character. Vegetation is made from used tea and coffee.
