Minnesota is a LO$ER--in the Trump Tax Reform Plan.

The State Tax Deduction is eliminated, and in higher state tax (Blue) states this deduction will hit them hard...

It's a relative shift of tax burden, to cities and states with taxes like Minnesota, from no-tax cities and states.

Marriage Equality, is it a legal or a moral or a religious issue?

I found right before the Minnesota House vote on Marriage Equality, two clergy with opposing views in the capital rotunda. Large crowds came to urge lawmakers on either side of the isle to vote both for and against.

The bill passed 75 to 59 by the DFL controlled House. 4 Republicans crossed the isle to support the bill, while 2 DFL opposed it.

After the vote, I went into the House chamber and interviewed several lawmakers... Representative John Persell (DFL 05-A) explained this isn't a religious issue, but a constitutional one that concerned contract law.
