Meet Litorosuchus somnii, an Armoured Triassic Predator

While the name and general appearance of the creature suggest that it is a crocodile, the relationship is somewhat superficial, as Litorosuchus has no living descendants today and is only very distantly related to crocodiles.

Jurassic Park Arcade - Game Review

Jurassic Park Arcade is pretty much what it says in the tin; an on-rails shooter where you have to dispatch of numerous dinosaurs with your trusty ‘tranq gun’ (because we can’t be ruthlessly murdering endangered species now can we?) in typically Jurassic Park-themed locations such as lush jungles, waterfalls and overrun laboratories.

Fossil Hunter Lottie Nominated For World Toy Award

ossil Hunter Lottie’s nomination for Action Figure of the Year is significant, as it signifies a change in the way we define the term ‘action figure’. While most action figures are armed with guns and swords, ready for battle, Lottie is armed for work, with a brush and trowel!

Review: Kronos Rising - Diablo

A modern day ‘lost world’, Caldera is now a last bastion for all manner of prehistoric creatures including the fierce Xiphactinus fish and nasty jumbo-sized squid. At the top of this hodgepodge food chain of miscellaneous prehistoric sea monsters is, of course, the mighty pliosaur, whom a local tribe of primitive humans worship as a God.

Meet Gualicho shinyae, the Argentinian non-T. rex

Gualicho shinyae, a newly described species of meat-eating dinosaur from Argentina, bears a striking resemblance to the famous Tyrannosaurus rex. Looks can be deceiving though. Despite having a disproportionately large head filled with sharp teeth and somewhat comical looking two-fingered hands, Gualicho is not actually a very close relative of T. rex at all.
