The message behind this design, "Saved by Grace." Everyone is born into sin through Adam. Because of that, we are being separated from God. God cannot tolerate sin therefore it s punishable by death. There is no good works that can be done by man to satisfy the penalty of sin except God Himself provided the only way to reconcile us back to Him. Jesus' sacrificial death on the cross is the propitiation in which we are declared righteous and free from facing the wrath of God. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God." Ephesians 2:8

The message behind the design, Isaiah 40:31: The Bible has several symbolic meaning of Eagle. This majestic bird can have a wing span over eight feet weigh up to fifteen pounds and live up to fourty years. They are the most attentive parents and great teachers of all the bird species. Eagle is also a symbol of strength and power. The NIV translation uses the phrase "those who hope in the Lord," KJV on the other hand says, "they that wait upon the Lord." It is imperative that we understand the true source of our strength comes from the Lord, no where else. As God's children living in this hostile world, we are to rely on God's strength in order to defeat the enemy and all life's challenges. Relying on our own effort and understanding will only lead to failure and frustration. If we hope and wait upon the Lord, we will have the strength and soar like an eagle.

Isaiah 55:8-9 says, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." Often we forget that God is God! He is the Creator and we are His creation. As created beings, we cannot direct our own ways and thoughts but only those which are from the Creator. Of course we have the freedom to do so, but having them our way would lead to failures and frustrations. If you wish for success in life, obey the Creator and follow His will for your life.

The Annual Summer Ministry Games has been a powerful and effective ministry tool reaching the young generation. Sports has been an influential activity in many young people's lives. Being influenced by professional athletes and their high exposure on the big screen, we cannot deny that sports has had a big impact in many lives. It is a ready-highway to reaching young people.

Here at MOMUSA, we recognize this great opportunity and have taken up the strategy of winning young people to Christ through the venue of sports. July 1st thru the 3rd, 2016 will mark the 21th anniversary of the MOMUSA Summer Sports Ministry since it begun.
