Wall to Wall Festival is in its third year in the pretty north east Victorian city of Benalla.
This is the first year I've made it there when the artists have been creating and it was fantabulous!
The talent of these artists cannot be stressed enough.

This is a wide shot of the Unicorn Stampede being created by #kaffeinepaints.
It is dedicated to LGBTQI Australians, who have the highest suicide rate of any group in Australia.

#kaffeinepaints researched and drew her beautiful creatures in the traditional equestrian statue/myth style with the number of legs in the air indicating the riders who either died in battle or died due to wounds suffered.

Watching her sketch out and start painting this massive mural was a privilege!
I plan to return in the future to capture the finished work in all its glory.

If you're in Australia at this time of year and have a interest in Street art, I highly recommend you get to the annual Wall to Wall Festival in Benalla.
If you are there on the weekend that new work is created, you have a priceless opportunity to witness beauty in the making.
I was blessed to witness Adnate in action completing this special work in the church and taking some pictures of the final stages.
Such talent, such a lovely man. #walltowallfestival #adnate #streetart #streetartaustralia

G+ folks are pretty fabulous.
The super talented +Helen Woodford and +Paul Woodford offered to take me on a walk through the street art areas of Sydney.
It reminded me of how things were in Melbourne a few years ago - developing, fast changing and a huge variety of styles.
I always enjoy the little gems you can easily miss, some are very punchy and make you think ☺
Thanks again Helen and Paul, it was fabulous!

The first two are from the CBD from memory, the third one is from Larundel.

Flashbacks!
These images are from October, 2012 in Hosier Lane.
Good memories of this iconic location before it became so well known.

I cannot explain or correct the ones around the wrong way. They were shared straight from my Photos album and we're the right orientation in there..... weird!

Not Happy Jan!
It appears not all here appreciate the art component of street art ;)
And the title?
The slogan from a very successful ad campaign many years ago.

Two examples of the bright and beautiful art by #vexta.
Street art is not limited to the CBD and inner suburbs; keep an eye out and you may get some great surprises!

Tools of the Trade
Wandering around the back lanes and alleys of Melbourne is always interesting.
Sometimes you discover the tools of the trade. Used, discarded.

Two more from my discoveries on Thursday.
The explosion of colours in this extensive work is very cool.
I would say that the work is celebrating Holi, the annual colour festival held in India and now also celebrated in many locations around the world.
No matter what your mood before you see this work; you'll leave uplifted, smiling and inspired.
