It's strange that the keyboard in the GIF is SwiftKey and not Gboard. 🤔

The Google Photos Material Theme concept looks particularly interesting with the larger and more prominent dates, even though they do occupy more vertical screen real estate. Maybe Google had devices with taller screen aspect ratios in mind, as they are ever-more common these days.

An excellent choice for first-time smartphone users, as well as for those needing reliable, backup phone.

Kinda odd now that the Nokia 6.1 has a 16:9 display, while the models directly above and below it (the Nokia 5.1 and X6) use taller aspect ratios.

Other than that, it's a very basic app lacking features like recurring tasks, something I always use in Todoist.

Google unveils the new Gmail

Haven't tried it out yet but the new Gmail design looks much cleaner than the current version. The confidential mode reminds me of the Virtru addon or ProtonMail - sounds very handy, but with no mention of end-to-end encryption, it'd be wiser to stick with ProtonMail instead.
