My blogpost: Ustaoset

On Monday, October 19, 2015, I travelled to Ustaoset, not far away from where I live. This does not mean that it takes a short time to get there: public transport in Norway is excellent, but the frequency of departures and arrivals of busses and trains, is very low: at least in the countryside. Driving on the RV7, the road through Hallingdal, starting in the neighborhood of Flå and ending in the neighborhood of Gol.
Hallingdal is a valley and traditional district in Buskerud county in Norway. It consists of the municipalities of Flå, Nes, Gol, Hemsedal, Ål and Hol.
The video ends with a beautiful painting, created by Johan Christian Dahl, in 1844, named: View over Hallingdal.

Aursjøvegen - wild and steep stretch of road in North Western Norway
Fantastic landscapes while driving in a car ....
The music is not really my choice. (Mute sound if you want)

A video about a trip across the new Hardanger Bridge in western Norway, starting with entering the Vallavik Tunnel.

Vallavik Tunnel is a road tunnel in Hordaland county, Norway.
The tunnel is part of the Norwegian National Road 13 and the Norwegian County Road 7. The 7,510-metre (24,640 ft) long tunnel was originally opened on 27 April 1985.

In 2013, a roundabout and a 600-metre (2,000 ft) long branch were added near the southern end of the tunnel to connect up with the newly constructed Hardanger Bridge.

Hardanger Bridge is a suspension bridge across the Hardangerfjorden in Hordaland county, Norway. It replaced a ferry connection between Bruravik and Brimnes, and thereby shortens the driving time between Oslo and Bergen. It is the longest suspension bridge in Norway.

Note: a pity that the video stops so sudden. That could have been edited in a better way by the uploader.

Take off every time again a very exciting feeling....
Flying with Norwegian is cheap. I always fly with SAS though, because of the for me better fitting departure and arrival times and... also payable....!

Flying and environment
An airplane creates much pollution and is bad for the environment.
The real "green" way of traveling is to travel by train.
If you travel in Norway by train you must be informed about buying tickets before the departure. The seats can be sold out.

A very nice video that shows a combination of travelling by train and biking......, in Norway, enjoying the landscapes in both ways.
