This is an older picture, too. Ancient no less with a Canon 350D and a rather crappy lens. But, the result is kinda cute. So have this lynx, taken in Wildpark Poing near Munich.

Such a comfy place to sleep. Some flower pot hanging right below the ceiling. Still wonder how he actually got up there. Seems sturdy though.

Sleepy fennec fox. Almost sure he's still watching!

Since the photographs in this collection are somewhat biased towards cats (and probably fennecs), how about an otter! Not easy to take pictures, because they are either inside, underwater or in a spot where you can't see them. However... the universal photo trap always works: food!

This is a rather old picture from Wildpark Poing near Munich from 2005. It is, of course, a lynx. No cute tufts on the ears in this picture which is their best feature! But bad light, slow lense and shooting through a fence I didn't pay attention and cut them off. Either way, still a cute picture. :)

From the North Sea, German coast. These sea gulls were floating with rather strong winds while others threw breadcrumbs in the air which the gulls caught.

Augsburg Zoo in winter. These pipes are from the heating system. Meerkats apparently love it. I wonder what temperature the pipes are. One malfunction and you have cooked meerkats!

This not very wild looking cat was sleeping in the sun near a Wirtshaus... I guess everyone understands Biergarten instead... somewhere in the Bavarian Forest region.

Since it feels like spring outside, how about a lovely summer picture. This one is from Hellabrunn Munich. Temperatures in June on that day can only be described as too hot. Even more so with that much fur.

Meet Fred. He's so evil, he even has a black glow in this picture.

Random cat that can be found around my father's house. He will approach, cuddle and play. Once he's fed up with you, try to dodge his paw. Claws are quite sharp.
