Busy, busy last few days! The blinds got jammed, now fixed. (Thanks Canela Services!) The new guests have arrived and needed urgent info on how to turn the volume on the TV = sorted. (The green light means the soundbar is OFF) #‎crazy! Kids and unpacking mean you need quiet! It was a little too quiet thought with no TV! As a mum too, I recommend an urgent visit to Playa Alta after unpacking!!! My kids love the swing and I love the silence!!!! Being told "I think I love you right now" is good enough for me = happy guests!!!

Local Stalls Isla Canela Beach

In the summer months along the promonade you'll find stalls selling items such as jewellery and sunglasses. All cheap and cheerful and worth a look as you pass by. Yesterday we stopped to buy some handmade bracelets for school friends. The kids enjoyed watching their little bracelets being made and all for 3 euros each.

Watching The Sunset With Your Children
Isla Canela Beach

Watching the sunset at a beach with your children is a special outdoors adventure. Take them to a beach where they can collect shells and then pause to watch the sunset.

Being so close to the beach this is a lovely activity. Then home in a flash for a snack, shower and bed!

The Autumn In Spain

For children Autumn in the UK sees the start of darker nights, Halloween, Bon fire night and Christmas lights. In Spain Halloween isn't really celebrated but there's lots of other fun and colourful fiestas and carnivals coming over the next few months. It's one of our favourite times to visit. Plaza Laguna in Ayamonte is a great spot to let the children play while you have a coffee at a cafe in the plaza and if you do want to let the kids explore Halloween all you really need is a plastic spider and a passing few nuns!! I still laugh at my daughters face in this picture!!!
