Come Here

Old barns possess a curious lure for me. I've yet to fully understand it, but I suspect it has to do with the amount of work that goes into their creation. In this age of metal pole barns and corporate farming/ranching, the care, sweat, and materials of old barns provides me with a sense of who built the foundation of family owned agriculture in this country.
In addition, I wonder what these buildings have "seen". What were they used for? How many people have come and gone through these doors? What has been stored in the loft sections?
