Laxmi Vilas palace at Baroda, Gujarat, India was built in 1890 in Indo-Saracenic tradition. Situated among 500 acres of land it is largest privately owned home in the world. Today some portion of the palace is open to public for viewing while remaining part is used by the royal family as their home. It holds one of the finest collection of paintings by Indian iconic painter Raja Ravi Verma.

Beautiful ruins of Prag Mahal, Bhuj,India

Setting sun highlights beautiful carving of Prag Mahal , Bhuj. Badly damaged in 2001 earthquake, some parts of the crumbled ruins ,still give us glimpses of past glory.
