The Norris Geyser Basin in Yellowstone is the hottest and most changing place. It is a huge area with many geysers. This is a snap of just one part of the basin. The different colors of the water due to minerals are just amazing to watch. It is beautiful as well as at times a bit scary!

Finally it has come to this. If you are visiting Yellowstone, please respect wildlife and heed park warnings (including those from park rangers). Be safe and keep the animals safe as well.

Three deer resting under a tree in a meadow. These were pretty far and I took this closeup shot using my zoom lens. You can see how relaxed these are; probably after they have had a good meal in the morning and now taking a break in the shade. Pretty cool.

Large #Bison herd in #LamarValley in #YellowStone. Lamar Valley is known for it's wild life where you get to see wolves, bighorn and other big animals. Unfortunately we were not there long enough to spot these, but saw this bison herd.

A fuming hot water pool near at the Norris Geyser Basin. Yellowstone is continuously changing. Nature destroys and regenerates again.

Another beautiful view of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Can you spot the little water falls. Took this while on the way down on Uncle Tom's trail. I swear that the actual view was more stunning than what it looks in this photograph. This is one of my most favorite places in Yellowstone.

Beautiful meadow with flowers everywhere and a green carpet of trees that stretches as far as the eye can see. The beauty of nature is just incredible.

Orange Spring Mound at the Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone. This large mound is the result of very slow water flow and mineral deposition. Bacteria and algae create the streaks of color on the mound.
