The tambols, drums are the OTOP of the village Sai Mun.

OTOP, One Tambon One Product, one community one product, is a program to stimulate local entrepreneurship. OTOP products include traditional handicrafts.

These drums are mainly for the use in temples. They are available in all shapes and sizes.

Thai Monkey Forest in Phana - Isaan

The Thai Monkey Forest in Phana is considered to be a magical place. In the middle of a small forest stands a temple, the Chao Poo Shrine. Approx. 1000 macaques live in an area of half a square kilometer next to amphibians, birds, and butterflies.

Second Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge in Mukdahan – Thailand

The Second Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge leads from Mukdahan to Savannakhet in Laos. It is one of a total of four friendship bridges from Thailand via the Mekong to Laos.

A nicely designed seaside promenade provides a good view of the 1600m-long Second Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge.

The construction started in 2004. The prestressed concrete bridge finally opened in 2007.

Wat Phra That Choeng Chum - Sakon Nakhon
