My desk is getting cluttered!
Hey, do any of you wanna see some rusty models?
I have a collection call "Rustic Replicas" listed under my profile.
Along with a bunch of other cool collections, but keep in mind: this is all "my work" and no one else; the models and the photography; please respect.

Entire Album of these two Macks: https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipM3NT8ZX_tyrQgP-69s-eZokQ2uCrBa3Dkgx7GWd8kChbwgs1MCnNc1elGY2DWX8g?key=SHFiSWxzNTR3a09Qdk92MjB4dXRBZFl0RWdMeGhR

The one on the left is the "R-685ST" cab from the AMT kit (green on box art) and the one on the right is the "DM-600" by MPC (also sold as Ertl) kit (red on box art).

If I reverse the bodies (cab & hood) of these two chassis (frame & suspension) I can create a much more shorter and longer wheel-base "look" to the trucks.

I also wanted to put the gravel trailer kit on the R series truck; that would make them both from the same original manufacture and relatively similar design style and would match nicer. The point of switching the cabs is to create a CENTER CAB and LONG NOSE truck using the "bigger" "heftier" "meaner" "brutier" MPC/ERTL. Or, a heavy-duty version of the light-duty amt kit, and i wanted to make a regular dump truck out of the DM600. The slightly long frame and longer wheel base adds a little length for a dump box (that I will custom fabricate).
