Bad Elf by Letranger Absurde - https://www.flickr.com/photos/vitreolum/23925422966/

I love the expression on this elf's face. It's amazing how much character can be achieved with just a few pieces.

The Cyrstal Cathedral by jaaapxaap - https://www.flickr.com/photos/98322162@N04/23417199553/

What a wonderfully imaginative micro-build this is. There's a remarkable amount of whimsy in the design of the cathedral and a surprising amount of detail too for such a small scale build.

LEGO Doctor Who - Tomb of the Cybermen - https://www.flickr.com/photos/ummwho/18625564934/in/photostream/

How about this for cool? Jared has recreated the tombs on Telos from the classic Patrick Troughton episode The Tomb of the Cybermen. If you follow the link there's are other photos showing more of the detail in the build, but I picked this one for the atmospheric lighting.

This is an absolutely gorgeous kinetic Lego sculpture. The movement of Sisyphus and the boulder is perfect to express his endless struggle, and the scenes on the base are all excellent (and prove that I never learned past the whole rolling a boulder up a hill thing to find out why he was forced to do that).

LEGO Gremlins Gizmo by Buggyirk - http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/421707

Sadly this was rejected by LEGO Ideas because of its licensed nature, but it's a brilliant design with moving ears, head and mouth as well as posable fingers.

LEGO Goblin - http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/422046

Very clever use of LEGO parts by _ P. Andrei_ to create this goblin peaking over a fence. Apparently the build uses two Jabba that Hut tails for its unique shape. So clever.

LEGO Ideas - Christmas Wands 'n' Wheels - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/121896

Here's a great and seasonal LEGO idea by RAtkinson321 for a set of of seasonal LEGO minifigures that feature characters in wheel chairs.

I like it. It's something we don't see a lot of and being minifigures could be relatively inexpensive for people to get.
