After several failed attempts at Skype calls we eventually got Nicola on the phone. Planning a wedding from the other side of the world came with it's challenges, but Nicola & Brian handled it with grace and good humour. That phone call lasted almost an hour where we chatted about everything but the wedding (well we eventually mentioned the wedding!) and we felt like old friends. All the way from Perth, Australia they decided that we were the ones to capture their day. And what a day it was!

All couples are happy on their wedding day (we hope!) but Clare & David might be the happiest, most smiley couple we’ve ever worked with. From the second we stepped into Clare’s house in Carlow we were greeted with hugs, excited giggles and a permanent smile attached to Clare’s face! Their wedding was sunny in every sense of the word, on a glorious May day, with touches of bright summer colours set off perfectly by the smiling faces of their beaming family and friends.

Our clients tell us that they want to celebrate their new form, to embrace it’s raw femininity and to create images that show that even this sometimes challenging time can be utterly beautiful in it’s own right.

Both bride and groom were quiet and nervous all morning; smiling, co-operative and kind as always but clearly couldn’t wait to get the show on the road. As Siobhan’s mum walked her up the aisle and placed her hand in Ronan’s, the relief on their two faces was visible. The morning’s stress melted away and both could breathe easy. In that moment they both glowed with joy, love and the knowledge that all was right in the world. They were together again.
