Into the woods

It's a great time of year, usually. We have had the passing of a hurricane and now the first of the winter storms is hitting so time for photography can be limited and challenging.

Have a good weekend!

Behind The Scenes, Dublin's Custom House

Excuse the Liffeyside guano.

I arrived back into Dublin in time to miss the sunset but before the next stage of my journey I made time to photograph the iconic Dublin Custom House and its great reflection.

This behind the scenes shows the high wall that lines this part of the river, covered with gull droppings.

Thanks to +Google Photos for reminding me of a sunny autumnal day in Dublin. I'm on my way back after a few days in London and I hope it still looks like this after the passing of Storm Ophelia yesterday.

Seascapes are one of my favourite subjects to photograph.

Here rain showers out in the distance, waves of white close to shore. It was an ever changing scene.

This week saw me in Dublin and back at the Antrim Coast and its famous Giant's Causeway. Here is a little stormy action with waves crashing into the basalt columns.

This evening saw plenty of rain showers in Dublin, a few of which produced a rainbow or two.
