We have an old metal structure in the courtyard here at work. They've planted vines to climb its sides. These flowers are the result of an excellent wet season and of those vines reaching the top.

I'm part of a smartphone photography community here on the Ploos. This month's challenge is "transportation" so I visited the abandoned train in Burbank. These were all shot on Galaxy S7 and edited (over-edited?) in Snapseed. The one in the thumbnail was shot with a wide-angle lens, too.

I promised +Martin Burke that I'd share these with him.

My wife teased me for weeks about having a "mystery date" scheduled for today. It was a trip to LACMA to see the art collection belonging to Guillermo del Toro. This Nosferatu on a grandfather clock was my favorite exhibit piece. Side note: a mystery date at the art museum to see a creepy display is evidence that I chose my wife wisely.
