One of my favourites from my 2 trips to Japan

The mix between traditional and technology is evident with this girl, with all her makeup, while making a phone call.

Trying to get into the Shinjuku Gyoen park

In hanami season this is what happens. Graet memories from 2009!

Photos from the Great Buda of Kamakura

If you have a free day or morning in Tokyo, take the train to Kamakura. It's worth it!

Rediscovering Kyoto, Japan (Part 1)

Such an interesting city. Even though I visited it in 2009 my second trip wasn't the same, at all. We went to different places, we wandered markets and streets empty of tourists. We experienced an authentic Kyoto, far from the typical spots.

At 2291 meters we climbed Mt. Asahidake in Hokkaido Japan

An amazing experience even for an unexperienced hiker like me.
We made it to the top and the view was breathtaking. We met friendly people on our way up and down. Even an old man, who also made it.
We never thought we would do this on our trip to Japan.

Eating inside the Kyoto train station

There are some amazing restaurants inside the train station. So good we went there like 3 times.

Did you that the Kyoto station has 15 floors?
