"Damaged by the rain but still beautiful"
Fibromyalgia can put us down but we don't have to stay there. It makes us feel battered and bruised, but like the rose we can still hold up and be beautiful. I have lived with this condition since 1989 and I dread to think where I would be now if I gave up and gave in. Each day brings new challenges, new frustrations but also new joys if we just look up. My mom always used to tell me to keep my face to the sun and even on the cloudiest of days I know that the sun is up there somewhere!! Be beautiful, be brave!!

It's official, I get real buzz looking at this in my kitchen. I look at it and it says so much to me, it speaks to me of health, energy, commitment and achievement. I treat my fruit and vegetable baskets almost as a beautiful flower display, I love the colours and the message it conveys. Part of my wellness lies on my kitchen counter and I love it 😊

PS. Spot the mini trampoline in the background...see I do practice what I preach 😉
