I’d first met Sarah & Kris sometime back in 2015 after they had found me online when searching for photographs of Iceland which I had visited earlier that year. We met up in Oddfellows in Chester to discuss their wedding plans and instantly clicked, I knew it was going to be a brilliant day and it didn’t disappoint.

The engagement shoot can be seen here

Starting off at the lovely holiday rental house in the City centre for the Bridal party getting ready which was unusually relaxed and calm before then heading off on the short walk to Chester Town Hall for the ceremony.

We then finished the day at Eccleston Village Hall for the reception, a lovely venue in one of the quieter suburbs of Chester.

Brilliant day from start to finish and so pleased to have played a small part in the day.

I’m fortunate to be local enough to have become a regular to the Zoo, usually though for the animals, this was my first wedding at +Chester Zoo to see Rachel & David become husband & wife. Lovely day all round, gloriously warm, brilliant setting at Oakfield House within the grounds of the Zoo, and spoilt for choice afterwards for photographs of the Wedding party as we explored the grounds.

Although only a shorter session than normal, still managed to get some great photographs of all involved, who were once again a great bunch of family & friends. Below is a selection of some of my favourites.

A beautiful summers day at +Crabwall Manor Hotel & Spa on the outskirts of Chester for the wedding of Jo & Mark, my second time at Crabwall Manor after photographing Melanie getting ready for her wedding in the bridal suite a few years earlier, this was the first wedding though for me at the hotel and it went superbly.

Staff were brilliant, really helpful, even accommodating me asking them politely if they could move a bunch of chairs in order that I could get to back of ceremony as it was underway, nothing too much trouble.

Great day with a fantastic bunch of people, what more could you ask for!
