1974 Norton 850cc Commando JOHN PLAYER SPECIAL

The JPS Norton's have the classic style and design of the 1970's British Cafe Racers of the day and in today's world, are considered one of the most highly collectable of all Norton street machines. This example is undoubtedly one of the finest original examples in existence with only 23 miles on the clock since new. This motorcycle was purchased new along with another JPS, and for over 40 years, this unit was set aside in a climate controlled display while it's twin brother was out being put through it's paces. Besides being a pristine example, this motorcycle has been regularly started and will come to life just after one or two kicks. Since coming out of hibernation, this JPS has been shown and placed at many prestigious motorcycle concourse throughout the country including:
•2013 Del Mar Concourse: Best British
• 2014 Quail Gathering: Best Design
•2015 Super Show Colorado: Runner Up, Best of Show
